In the days leading up to the 2020 presidential election I created altered front pages of the Washington Post. Creating a new message by redacting the news stories was a salve for the fears and anxiety that permeated that fall. This experiment with concrete poetry was a facet of my investigation into how our thoughts and emotions create individualized meaning out of information.
